The Voice of the Horse Industry

As a wild horse advocate and rescuer for years, I find it very infuriating that the BLM is allowed to continue to mismanage, injure and even kill OUR wild horses, while they allow 200 times as many welfare rancher's cattle to destroy the public rangeland. What must we do to insure the 1971 Wild Horse and Burro Act is enforced? Catherine Ritlaw http://www.jeranimalsanctuary.org

Hi! I am really busy caring for 14 animals by myself. I would like to ask you to visit a few websites, including one of mine. Thank you so much for your interest, Jennifer. See my Wild Horse page at http://www.journeysendranchanimalsanctuary.org also: http://www.thecloudfoundation.org http://www.aowha.org http://www.returntofreedom.org http://www.wildhorsepreservation.com On the home page of Return to Freedom, there is a link to a wonderful documentary by a journalist in Las Vegas, who has studied the issue for years. It is "Stampede to Oblivion". Also, google Craig Downer, the leading wildlife ecologist and wild horse expert in our country. I hope you will join us in our fight to save the wild horse- an American icon which belongs to all of us. Thank you! Here is one of two mustang mares which was saved from slaughter last month. They now live at my sanctuary.
