We have recently added two mustang mares which had been used in the illegal "sport" of horse tripping and were then sent to slaughter. Luckily, they were pulled from the slaughter pen on the last day. They have settled beautifully into our little herd, and are quite sweet despite their past abuse. http://www.journeysendranchanimalsanctuary.org
